Android P announced by Google

Google's Android security patch for March now available for Nexus and Pixel devices

Additional user accounts can also be given access to view and manage models, builds, and updates for any product, according to Google. The Nexus 6P and 5X launched in 2015, and before the second-generation Pixels Google's promise has been to deliver non-security software updates for two years since release. It even stores contact information by simply scanning a hard copy business card. Till now, this feature was restricted to Google Pixel 2, but the tech giant is now planning to roll out the feature for all Android phones via the Photos app. The company today released the first developer preview of Android P. The latest update brings those features across Android devices.

Certain flagship phones from Samsung, Huawei, LG, Motorola, Sony, and Nokia will also eventually receive Lens capabilities on Google Assistant, which is now only present on Pixel phones. While the technology is still in its infancy, the expectation is that we'll soon be able to "Shazam" the world around us using our smartphone's camera. Google Lens will be able to tell you.

If the menu card is in a foreign language, Google Lens can also translate it into English or your mother tongue (select global languages).

More features will be added in the future and Google will continue to work on improving Lens recognition for animals and plants. To use it, you have to first take a picture of anything and pull it up in Google Photos. To help encourage developers to use Kotlin with Android Things, the team has started publishing Kotlin versions of the Android Things samples that have already been available. However, we all know what you really want to learn about.
