"Afterwards I had it fully sink in", said Bachman.
And to throw some salt on his already-large wound, Bachman accidentally ordered a pricy UberXL, which can accommodate six passengers and is exceptionally more expensive than the standard UberX.
Bachman spread out for sure, passing out shortly after he got into the auto.
As reported by NJ.com, Bachman woke up after a long nap in an Uber and realized he was in Morgantown, West Virginia, not Philadelphia.
Obviously, this accidental life choice has made Kenneth quite the hero of the drunken regrets world, and speaking on the matter he said simply, "I was just like... that's insane!".
Kenneth Bachman has! He's a guy who had too good a time and paid the price for it, literally!
On top of that, the Uber driver didn't have money for tolls and was fined at every toll booth.
"It would have cost like $800 but instead it came out to $1,600", Bachman says.
Bachman initially contested the charge with Uber, claiming he didn't put his New Jersey address as his destination. It sure sounds like something Silicon Valley's Bachman might do. Bachman says the driver had his phone, even having answered a FaceTime call from a friend while he was asleep. "He was on my phone, without me allowing it". "Why did you agree to take me to New Jersey from West Virginia?". He disputed the charge but as Uber noted, the ride did indeed occur and the driver took him to the destination requested so there wasn't much they could do.
