God of War Latest Leak Shows Another April Release Date

The upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive title has been in the works for some time now, with fans getting their first glimpse of a bearded Kratos and the surprising addition of his son Atreus back in 2016.

God of War will be released on April 20, only for the PS4. Check it out below. It looks like an exciting chapter for the God of War series, honestly, and if you're interested in giving it a try, there's not too long to wait.

There are some fairly grand moments on display in the trailer, including a sequence where the boy asks Kratos "Can you kill something THAT big?"

Stone Mason Edition comes with a Stone Mason's Ring, Mimir's Head keychain, a 2-inch horse carving and a 2-inch troll carving.

Some pre-orders form specific retailers will also get you the Luck of Ages XP Boost, which gives you +10 Luck and has 1 Enchantment Slot.

Barlog doesn't mince words, focusing mainly on important release information for God of War. Plan to explore its world a lot and get a complete view of every battle with its new third-person camera. The game will come in a Collector's Edition, a Stone Mason Edition, and a Digital Deluxe Edition, starting at $59. It comes with the game, a SteelBook with Huldra Bros. loo, an art book from Dark Horse, a PlayStation 4 theme and the Death's Vow armor set and Exile's Guardian shield DLC. There are also digital items included in the set.

Alongside these announcements, Barlog also revealed the premium editions and pre-order offerings for God of War. It is essentially the Collector's Edition but without anything physical, so it just has the game, the digital comic books and the in-game goodies mentioned above.

In addition to the standard edition, Collectors and Digital Deluxe editions of the game will also be available for purchase following the release date.

Pre-order is available now, in which the reward for doing so are 3 different shield skins.
