The Nintendo Switch port of The World Ends With You, dubbed -Final Remix-, will allow players to play the game using its classic touch-screen control system, or with a brand new control scheme that uses the Joy-Cons.

You can catch up on the Dark Souls announcement and all the latest Switch happenings by checking out today's Nintendo Direct Mini. This is essentially an ultimate edition of the game, as it comes with all previous DLC and all of the content featured in both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game.

Celeste comes from the developer of Towerfall, and is an indie action platformer coming to Switch on January 25. There isn't too much information at this time, beyond the usual release date, which is May 25th, and marketing spiel, but the below image has found its way onto Discord. Most games shown during the presentation were slated for a spring or summer release, though, so perhaps the game will be available within the next two quarters if development goes smoothly. It seems that it only took one generation for that decision to be made, as Dark Souls Remastered has been officially announced.

It's a ladies-only affair with SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will gain a new character in Donkey Kong, who will be purchasable with a new storyline and world in the spring.

It looks like Nintendo Switch will have another stellar year.

Indie platformer Celeste features pixelated graphics and an assist mode that lets you tweak the difficultly level.

While all of the above is terrific news for anyone looking to have their ass handed to them over and over and over again, it's a particularly notable move for Switch owners and Nintendo itself. This was followed by a tweet from publisher Bandai Namco on its Spanish account, stating that Dark Souls Remastered is set to arrive on May 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC as well as the Nintendo Switch.
