Trump 'unlikely' to give interview to Russian Federation collusion investigators

"We'll see that happens".

Mueller recently indicated to Trump's legal team that his office is likely to seek an interview with the president, and while Trump has indicated a willingness to do that, his attorneys have discussed privately setting limits on such a conversation, people familiar with the matter said.

Manafort's business associate, Rick Gates, was also indicted as apart of the probe, while former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos pled guilty in the probe.

"The single greatest Witch Hunt in American history continues", Trump tweeted.

Mueller's investigation, as well as several House and Senate probes into Russia's election meddling, are still ongoing and have yielded no conclusive results. He goes with the alternative "nobody's found any collusion" once. Russian Federation and the world is laughing at the stupidity they are witnessing.

When Roberts asked Trump whether he would be open to meeting with Mueller "without condition" or only do so under strict limitations on the scope of questioning, Trump responded that because there was "no collusion", it would be "unlikely that you'd even have an interview".

The United States intelligence community believes that the Russian government was engaged in electoral interference during the 2016 USA presidential election. When Karl followed up to ask if he would do so with the special counsel, the president said he "would be glad to tell him exactly what I just told you".

Democrats said Trump is trying to block the investigation, citing his call to Republicans to "take control" of it. No administration officials have been questioned by Mueller in about a month, the person said.

Mueller's work has long had an important cyber component, as Russia's hacking of Democrats' emails to undermine confidence in the US electoral system and help Trump win is central to his probe.

The comment marks a departure from what Trump said last June, which is that he would be "100 percent" open to testifying in the Russian Federation investigation. "Any solution has to include the wall, because. without the wall, it all doesn't work". Norway is a major supporter of the global pact, but Trump said the proposed restrictions on energy use hurt American businesses.
