OnePlus 5T Sandstone White Edition launched: Price, features, specifications

Now unlike the Midnight Black colour variant of the 5T, the Sandstone colour variant only comes with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

After days of teasing, OnePlus has finally launched the Sandstone White variant of its flagship OnePlus 5T, which shouldn't surprise the folks in India as they've already witnessed the recently-launched Star Wars limited edition of the flagship.

OnePlus 5T Sandstone is basically the OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition with the Star Wars branding.

The phone will be available for $559 a pop, just like the Midnight Black version.

At launch, the OnePlus 5T was offered only in Midnight Black color version. Here's the chronological listing of all OnePlus 5 variants so far. There are on-screen navigational support, power button, volume rocker and Alert Slider in the OnePlus 5T. The company posted a video on the official OnePlus channel to show how lovely the phone looks. The phone was launched in single storage variant- 8GB RAM/128GB storage for a price of Yuan 3499 (around Rs 34,150). The handset was released in conjunction with the latest episode of Star Wars movie franchise - Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The company has designed this limited edition phone by expending more on the production side with the same price tag of its original OnePlus 5T smartphone which is actually a good thing for the new consumers of the device. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

It comes with two rear cameras with portrait mode, video stabilisation and low light photography ability. The dual rear camera setup remains unchanged, combining a 16 MP and a 20 MP sensor. There is dual LED flash on the back and the camera can record video at up to 4K resolution. Ever since switching to a metal back with the OnePlus 3, the company hasn't stopped making sandstone cases for its smartphones. On the front of the phone lies a 16 MP (f/2.0, 20mm) camera. The device also comes with a builtin Fingerprint Sensor at the back panel located at the middle of the back panel.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. The near-bezel-less OnePlus 5T arrived in India on 21st November.

Since it's a limited edition phone, the phone will be available until supplies last. For more updates, stay tuned with us!
