A Series Of Unfortunate Events season 2 releases on Netflix March 30.

It feels like we're still a long way from seeing a live-action version of "A Series of Unfortunate Events" that will actually do something engaging and memorable, but you never know - this show's second season might just be hiding some secrets up its sleeves.

The new preview features Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes), and the baby dealing with more misadventures courtesy of Uncle Olaf, as our antihero du jour taunts them with, "Does this seem like a nightmare?" Along with the release date came the first teaser. While the first season adapted books The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room, The Wide Window, and The Miserable Mill; the trailer suggests this season will tackle The Austere Academy, The Ersatz Elevator, and The Vile Village.

You can read our review of the first season here, which declares that the show "manages that rare feat of staying utterly faithful to the books, while still remaining fresh and dynamic".

The second season covers books five through nine, as the story traverses through boarding schools to penthouse apartments.

It's pretty brief, but we get the gist.
