Nokia 6 (2018) passes through TENAA certification

It has been now confirmed that the Nokia 6 2018 or TA-1054 has been certified at TENNA in China.

In related news, the Nokia 9, HMD's newest smartphone, is rumoured to launch in China alongside the Nokia 8 (2018) at an event on January 19. Even though the TENAA listing doesn't reveal anything about the upcoming handset, according to a report by NokiaPowerUser, this will be the Nokia 6 (2018). The same device has made the trip over to TENAA, China's certification agency, which is usually an indication that launch is imminent.

The smartphone has settled for a single camera on the back and on the front.

When it comes to the expected specifications, there are speculations that the Nokia 6 (2018) might feature a 5.5-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is expected to offer either Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa-core SoC, paired with 3 GB or 4 GB RAM with 32 GB or 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot.

HMD Global re-launched the Nokia smartphone brand past year with the launch of the Nokia 6 and now the company is all set to launch its successor, Nokia 6 2018.

Alongside the 18:9 aspect ratio displays, dual rear cameras have also become something that every manufacturer from Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi are bundling. The smartphone has also been subjected to several leaks and rumours giving us a rough sketch of the specification and design of the smartphone. What exactly the Nokia 9 will do to set itself apart from the updated models of older Nokia phones remains to be seen. So, it is expected to be launched at the same time in 2018 as well. The device is rumored to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. The feature allows users to use both the front and rear cameras simultaneously. Nokia 7 is one of my favourite smartphones in terms of design. The current gen Nokia 6 also has 32GB of internal storage similar to the Nokia 6 (2018).
