LeBron James Irks NYC Subway Passenger During Cavs' Ride In Big Apple

Following Monday morning shootaorund at Madison Square Garden, the Cleveland Cavaliers didn't want to sit in bumper-to-bumper NY traffic just to get back to the team hotel.

"On our way from shootaround, made a decision to take a different transportation this time", the 13-time NBA All Star said to the camera, asking teammate Kyle Korver for travel times as they rode from their morning practice back to their hotel.

The trip was documented both by the NBA's Twitter account and LeBron James on Uninterrupted.

"Trying to look like a real citizen, man", J.R. Smith said.

In James' video, Cavs guard Kyle Korver said the team was faced with either a 45-minute bus ride or a six-minute train ride, so they chose to take the public transportation route. "Forty-five minute bus ride or six-minute train ride". And so you shuffle your way through to an open hand rail or clear seat, making as little eye contact as possible with your fellow riders and immediately tuning out any annoying noises.

"I don't know this dude here", James said with a laugh. James and the Cavs play Kristaps Porzingis the Knicks on Monday night. The Knicks took umbrage to the remarks on Sunday, perceiving them as a shot at Knicks rookie Frank Ntilikina, who was selected one spot ahead of Smith.
