GIRAFFE ALERT: Could April the giraffe be expecting another baby?

GMA reveal: April the giraffe may be pregnant AGAIN

Staff previously told Inside Edition that April was ready to mate again and her partner, Oliver, was showing interest.

Barely six months after the world breathlessly watched her give birth to a son, April the Giraffe may be expecting another calf.

Seven months after the birth of April's baby boy, Tajiri, Animal Adventure Park owner Jordan Patch gave an update on the family on "Good Morning America". He said it's too early to tell. "I can not confirm nor deny the possibility of another pregnancy", he teased. "Are we ready for another giraffe cam, world?"

April's activities went viral in spring of 2017 when her pregnancy was streamed by the Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, New York, where April is kept as a major attraction.

April's pregnancy and baby Tajiri's birth made the Animal Adventure Animal Park, just outside of Binghamton, an global sensation. The Adventure Park Zoo created an online portal specifically for shoppers to purchase April the Giraffe merchandise and a GoFundMe campaign was launched in April's honor to improve the Giraffe Encounter Deck.

He says that if April does conceive, the camera will likely move to another exhibit until she gets further along in her pregnancy. He was named Tajiri, which means "hope" in Swahili.

Less than a year later, baby Tajiri is "already approaching 10 feet in height", Patch said, adding that April has "been an incredible mother".

Tajiri, April's fourth child, now weighs 450 pounds and, at nearly 10 feet tall, he is almost as big as his mother.

Despite the swarms of people that come to visit April and Tajiri each day, Patch said the giraffes were doing just fine and going about their lives at the zoo accordingly.
