The Miami-Dade Police Department is reportedly gathering information regarding the incident.

A disturbing video has surfaced from No. 9 Miami's 28-10 win over No. 13 Virginia Tech on Saturday night.

It remains unclear what led to the woman being removed, or whether or not she was arrested.

Authorities said Farrington hid her daughter's body in the trunk of her 2013 Nissan Altima for several days.

A violent altercation at a University of Miami football game between a fan and a police officer has resulted in the fan's arrest for felony battery.

Nearly immediately the officer pulls back his arm and punches the woman in the face.

She flails at one officer and misses, then slaps him in the face. The woman - only identified by her surname as Freitas - was lifted from her seat by four police officers after she started arguing with the other spectators and caused a scene by swearing loudly.

A Miami-Dade Police statement says a man throwing out garbage Sunday found the body of Tania Paige inside the trash bin at his apartment complex southwest of Miami.

The video has been shared on social media, sparking outrage from people who have called for the immediate removal of the officer who retaliated in such a violent manner.

Per the AP report, University of Miami officials said there were multiple skirmishes in the stands during Saturday's game.

She was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct.
