Nearly a month after Microsoft released its fixed for KRACK in October, Apple has released updates for all four of their operating systems. It's been through many rounds of beta testing, too, so we sort of already knew that it was coming and what it might feature. To close the App Switcher just use the Home button.

Don't panic if you can't see iOS 11.1 showing on your compatible iPhone, iPad or iPod touch straightaway, due to the high volumes of users trying to download the new software, things might be a little slower than usual. The first developer preview for iOS 11.2 arrived this week, bringing some small but exciting improvements to the operating system.

iOS 11.1 delivers the long-promised new emoji as well as some important security fixes for iDevice owners.

The update also brings a dedicated Radio app, which includes access to Beats 1. In the associated release notes, Apple highlights the addition of over 70 new emoji, along with fixes to photo handling, accessibility, and an assortment of other issues. You'll find a Wi-Fi toggle in the Control Center with this update, and Apple has enabled GymKit.
