Less than a week after Amazon suspended its Studios chief Roy Price following sexual harassment claims, the executive has resigned from the company, a spokesman confirmed. Since then, even more allegations and stories have emerged, painting a troubling picture of Price's tenure. Last week, she told The Hollywood Reporter that in July 2015, Price persistently propositioned her in a vulgar manner in a cab on a way to an Amazon staff party, and continued at the party after she made it clear she was not interested. Following the recent sexual harassment allegation against Price, there is a consensus that, as Amazon officially moves to finding a replacement for Price, the new head of Amazon Studios would likely be a woman, with Powell again speculated about. The tech news website Information reported in August that Amazon.com investigated an allegation that Price made unwanted sexual remarks to Hackett. Her husband and Pitch Perfect co-star, Skylar Astin, added, "Seems like the only retribution I could think of would be to give these women their voices back". He, along with Price, also recently has been scrutinized over potential conflict of interest issues. That comes after the streaming service has spent reported $4 billion a year with no watercolor title to show for it and expensive misfires like Woody Allen's Crisis In Six Scenes.

Actress Rose McGowan has also accused the Amazon boss of ignoring a claim that she was raped by Harvey Weinstein.

The actors and Russell said they agreed with Amazon Studios to stop work on the untitled series that was being produced by The Weinstein Co. Among them: Goliath creator David E. Kelley, who described Price's entertainment division as "a bit of a gong show" in a scathing Wall Street Journal piece about the company's latest struggles in Hollywood.

And then there's Price's reported weird pet project: a series called Shanghai Snow, which T.H.R. says was Price's own idea.

In the draft written by [aspiring script writer Yale] Hannon, obtained by THR, Shanghai Snow follows a young woman named Cindy who is sold into sex slavery.

She also alleges that he yelled "anal sex" in her ear while at a party later that night. Roy Price worked for Disney Animation before joining Amazon in 2004.

Price was set to get married to playwright Lila Feinberg next month, but she has called the wedding off, according to her manager.

We have reached out to Price though Amazon, and will update this post accordingly.
