An Amber Alert was issued for the girl Saturday afternoon. Sherin Mathews was last seen in the 900 block of Sunningdale in Richardson, a Dallas suburb, around 3 a.m. Saturday.
When he returned 15 minutes later, he could not find her. The familyreported her missing almost five hours later, at 8 a.m. Saturday, KXAS reported.
Law enforcement officials believe she is in grave or immediate danger.
Sherin Mathews'father, Wesley Mathews is charged with child endangerment. He was arraigned on Sunday, and his bail was set at $250,000. The arrest affidavit said Mathews admitted to making Sherin stand outside, next to a large tree about 100 feet away from their home and across an alley.
As it stands, city, county and state law enforcement are all working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to try and find little Sherin Mathews.
As indicated by a Facebook post, she was most recently seen by her dad outside the family's terrace. She was wearing a pink top and black pajama bottoms. RichardsonPolice Sgt. Kevin Perlich told KTVTinvestigators are trying to determine why the parents called 911 several hours later.
The three-year-old has black hair and brown eyes. They have also arrested the girl's father.
A Texas toddler vanished on Saturday after her father sent her out to an alley to punish her for not drinking milk, according to police.
"That does not seem like a normal response that one would do if you have a missing child", Perlich said.
The headphone jack is dead and I blame Google
In that vein, it's a safe bet the Home Max will get similar positive reviews, even if it takes an iteration or two to get there. Now Google has offered something of an explanation, putting it down - at least in part - to the "bezel-less future" of phones.
