Madonna Reveals She's Moved to Portugal to Focus on New Movie and Music

Pop icon Madonna has moved to Lisbon to start the "next chapter" of her life.

The singer also posted on her social media that the move was inspiring her to work on new music.

This is where she longs to be: Madonna announced Saturday on Instagram that she has relocated to Lisbon to focus on upcoming projects.

The upload continued: "And I look forward to working on my film LOVED and making New Music!" Madonna thinks Lisbon, Portugal's hilly, coastal capital city is the flawless place for her at this instant. "It's time to conquer the world from a different vantage point!"

Jenifer: Back in the studio preparing an album with Da Silva! The star, who recently celebrated his 59 years in the presence of all his children during a getaway in Italy, is preparing for the time of the publication of the DVD and live disc of his tour Rebel Heart Tour (from the name of his last cd released in 2015).

Reportedly, it is based on Andrew Sean Greer's The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells. "Why does this book appeal to me?" Madonna previously shared that her "Loved" movie project is a film which will tackle great and important topics in the society.

Loved will be Madonna's fourth directorial project, her first since the 2013 short film Secret Project Revolution. "Right now, more than ever, it's an extremely timely story to tell".
