The game won't be too hard to get into because they have plans on reintroducing newcomers and old-school fans to the characters and settings to help acquaint everybody with the new story that they plan to tell.
THQ Nordic is happy to keep them coming as the popularity rises, as they've just announced Black Mirror, a self-described "gothic horror adventure". The gameplay has been re-imagined and will now focus on the investigation of the nightmarish visions that protagonist David Gordon has, slowly examining his psychological distress and disintegration over the course of the story.
The game seems to have a Lovecraftian vibe about it, and centers around Dr. Farber going to visit a David Gordon, who ends up going through a dark journey of rediscovering his childhood and his family's horrifying secret.
Set to launch on November 28th for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac, players have plenty of to look forward to in The Black Mirror's release.
The game name may already exist one way or another, and no, we're not talking about the Netflix series. The last title, Black Mirror 3, released in 2011. Blood is not always thicker than water, as he'll soon find out.
Black Mirror is being developed by KING Art Games, and it will thematically follow from the original games (even as it is narratively separated from them).
A playable demo of Black Mirror will be at Gamescom 2017 for both industry and public visitors to try out via the THQ Nordic Stand. A quick glance at its Steam reviews tells me other people did like it, though, which means there are people out there who will be excited by THQ Nordic's latest announcement.
