People in White House working to eject Donald Trump - Scaramucci

Also in the report sources say Trump has been fed-up with what he views as self-promotion by Bannon

Scaramucci's appearance Sunday on ABC's "This Week" marked his first interview since his brief tenure as communications director ended abruptly about two weeks ago. He's got to move more into the mainstream, he's got to be more into where the moderates are and the independents are, George, that love the president.

"I think the president knows what he's going to do with Steve Bannon", Scaramucci told host George Stephanopoulos.

Scaramucci - who held the top White House communications job for just 11 days - urged current administration officials to directly disagree with Trump if he's wrong, but hypothesized that the president responded in that way because he "likes doing the opposite of what the media thinks he's going to do", and he is "of the impression that there is hatred on all sides".

White House Senior Adviser Steve Bannon attends a round table discussion held by U.S. President Donald Trump in MI on March 15.

Mr Scaramucci said the events should be called terrorism and that the President needed to be "much harsher as it related to the white supremacists" in his statement on the violence.

Mr Scaramucci was asked to leave when Mr Trump named General John Kelly his new chief of staff and tasked him with restoring calm.

On ABC, Scaramucci said he had talked to Trump in the past week and hinted ominously at Bannon's future. If he does that, he'll have a successful legislative agenda that he can execute.

The "alt-right", though once a term used to describe millennial and hipster conservatives, is now reserved for white nationalist groups and websites. "If he doesn't do that, you'll see inertia".

Scaramucci blasted Bannon in an oft-quoted New Yorker interview that featured the man known as "the Mooch" uttering blue language. "The president's going to do what he wants to do, how he wants to do it, but I think it's important for the people around him to give them direct advice, to be blunt with him".

"What we focus on is coordinating and integrating efforts across the government and with our multinational partners and allies to present the president with options, options about some very serious national security challenges we face today and, and also options to take advantage of opportunities to secure the American and protect the American people and promote American prosperity". On Saturday, the president had blamed "many sides".

"But you didn't ask for it to be off the record", Stephanopoulos said. I'm accountable for the mistake.
