Mourinho Hoping To Sign One More Player To Complete Manchester United Team

Jose Mourinho believes Ivan Perisic will be key to their title challenge

The Croatia global has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford but the Serie A side have no plans to part with their prized asset.

United have already signed Lindelof, Lukaku and Matic this summer and Perisic could be their fourth signing.

Perisic, 28, is keen on moving to Old Trafford but the Red Devils are unwilling to meet Inter's £50million valuation of the Croatia winger.

Inter have insisted the Perisic will remain in Milan and Ausilio reiterated the Serie A club's stance regarding the Croatia worldwide winger and team-mate Antonio Candreva, who is reportedly a target for Chelsea.

"The same goes for Perisic, who is an important player and we are now discussing a new contract with him", he was quoted as saying via Daily Mail. "We don't want to sell him, he is a very important player for us".

A deal was close to being agreed between United and Inter for a player who fits the classical Mourinho style. But the delay over the move highlights the struggles Mourinho's side have encountered getting deals over the line this summer.

Managers are now pressing ahead with their plans for the summer transfer window so we'll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe.

"The more days that go by, the more hard it becomes for us to replace him and, therefore, I would strongly oppose his departure".

The Inter player has been in sparkling form to continue his impressive form of last season. Few days back, even Daily Star reported that Mourinho is closing in to sign him.

So what starting XI do supporters want to see this year?
