Lenovo announces the Moto Z2 Force with Snapdragon 835, new Mods

Moto Z2 Force All Set to Launch | Here's the Features, Price and Details of the Same

At an event in New York City on Tuesday, Motorola announced its latest smartphone and a new 360-degree camera Moto Mod. If you are looking for mods as well, then the pricing is going to be around $799.99, but apart from this moto has come up with a 360 degree camera mod, which is priced a bit less.

It's a feature that most users will probably never think about, but it helps Lenovo and the Moto line stand out in a sea of very similar handsets (having tried the modular approach with the LG G5 in 2016, LG has dropped the idea this year). This doubly hurts when you consider that earlier Z models - including the first Z Play and the original Z Force - had tremendous longevity. For starters, there's a Snapdragon 835 chip, joining the Galaxy S8, HTC U11, OnePlus 5, and Sony Xperia XZ Premium as the only phones to feature the top-of-the-line processor.

On the processing front, the phone will have two variants- one with 128GB internal storage with 6GB RAM and the other one 64GB internal storage with 4GB RAM. The storage is not expandable though. Motorola has also equipped the rear cameras with phase detection and laser autofocus systems for enhanced stability. Instead, the company has a water-repellant coating that might save it from a splash, but that's about it. You do get a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter in the box, though. Now, Lenovo's subsidiary firm is set to launch another Z2 product, the Lenovo Moto Z2 Force, with two new exciting features.

The Moto Z2 Force looks almost identical to last years model, with the same design and 5.5-inch screen. It'll look awfully familiar if you've spent any time with the Moto Z2 Play as well, but you probably could've guessed that based on their names.

Motorola recently launched the rather good Moto Z2 Play mid-range mobile here in the United Kingdom, offering the same great Moto Mods experience of previous Z-series phones for an affordable price tag.

Motorola is back with yet another smartphone in the Moto Z series.

The Motorola Moto Z2 will be available in gray, black and gold color options.

In terms of USA availability, it's certainly nice to hear AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint shall join Verizon for a truly nationwide launch on August 10, preceded by July 26 pre-orders, but on the not so bright side of things, the 6GB RAM variant is exclusive to foreign territories. For a limited time, buyers will get a free Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod, a $299 value, via mail.
