According to TMZ, the 30-year-old actor was partying with a group of friends in San Diego. The cop asked Teller questions and the situation quickly escalated. He was then placed in handcuffs, but he still had trouble standing up straight.
Miles Teller had a not-so-fantastic weekend that culminated in his arrest in San Diego. When Miles refused and was rejected by the staff at the center for his behavior, police charged him with public drunkenness - a misdemeanor crime - and booked him into San Diego County Jail.
Teller reportedly became uncooperative when the officer started questioning him, and soon lost his balance and nearly fell into a traffic lane! The law enforcement officers were hoping that Teller would cooperate once he was there, but that didn't happen.
According to the report, Teller was deemed unable to take care of himself and brought to a local detox facility to sleep off his intoxication.
Teller has not commented on the arrest reports, but the news comes six months after he was involved in a scary vehicle crash while driving in the San Fernando Valley, near Los Angeles in December (16) with his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry.
