Escaped inmates captured after foot chase in Tennessee

The FBI said these men are armed and risky and if you think you see them, call 911 immediately. The Department of Corrections said Rowe has been serving life without parole since 2002, and Dubose began a 20-year sentence in 2015.

The Georgia Department of Corrections identified the guards as Christopher Monica and Curtis Billue, both officers at Baldwin State Prison.

A reward for information leading to the arrests of Dubose and Rowe is up to $130,000.

GEORGIA (AP) - A Georgia sheriff says authorities still don't know the whereabouts of two escaped Georgia inmates accused of killing two prison guards.

There is a growing bounty for anyone that could provide information leading to their arrest.

The New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association donated $15,000 to the reward fund, the union announced Thursday.

Now authorities are searching for a 2008 white Ford F250 pickup truck with the Georgia tag BCX-5372.

Two escaped inmates from Putnam County, Georgia, may have been spotted in Jasper County.

Donnie Rowe and Ricky Dubose were taken into custody on Pruitt Road after the pursuit.

Authorities said they are reviewing the vehicle's security camera footage to piece together how the prisoners managed to wrest away the guards' weapons - and to determine which of the inmates pulled the trigger.

The Baldwin State Prison inmates were being transferred to another facility when they allegedly broke through a barrier in the transport bus and overpowered the guards and got a gun. David LeValley, agent in charge of the FBI's Atlanta office, told reporters that "we are expanding, not shrinking, our effort to find these individuals". Two corrections officers were killed during the incident.

In a Wednesday afternoon press conference, Sills said the truck was taken sometime between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday when the business reopened. Burial will follow in Heritage Memorial Park.

The inmates, Donnie Russell Rowe and Ricky Dubose, are accused of shooting and killing the officers Tuesday morning and escaping during a prisoner transport. The manhunt for both inmates continues into its third day Thursday.

The Olean Times Herald reports the Georgia Department of Corrections spokeswoman could not confirm Denise Monica's wife identify "out of respect for the family".

"My biggest worry is they're going to kill somebody else", Sills said. After killing the guards and abandoning the prison bus, Rowe and Dubose carjacked a passerby's auto at gunpoint and ransacked a nearby house for food and clothes.
