The Elder Scrolls: Legends unleashes the Dragonborn with Heroes of Skyrim

MachineGames Bethesda Softworks

Bethesda just finished their E3 2017 conference with a plethora of new and exciting game announcements for the rest of 2017 and beyond. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus continues the ordeals of Nazi enemy #1, BJ "Terror Billy", as he seeks to recover not only his country but also his health from the reigning Nazi overlords.

There weren't any huge surprises, but at least they kept things moving along.

Wolfenstein II is something we've been looking forward to for a long time now, as we've always felt the original reboot was sorely underappreciated. Another video plays, this time with clips from various Bethesda games such as Doom and Fallout. Next up is Fallout 4 which seems to be getting VR treatment as well, appropriately named Fallout 4 VR.

The Creation Club will see mods that were created by Bethesda, outside developers and members of the community. After some stats about mods for Elder Scrolls games, the narrator claims that in 2017 something called Creation Club is on the way, allowing for easier access to custom content for Skyrim and Fallout 4 like new weapons, armor and gameplay enhancements. It's likely that different Amiibo will be used to drop Nintendo themed mods into Skyrim, and that's awesome. While not everything has a clear release date, all of the games and DLC's were promised to release this calendar year.

Fans of the stealth action game Dishonored 2 received some excitement in the form of Death of the Outsider. Available starting 15th September on the Xbox One, PC, and PS4. Given that that DLC was arguably (inarguably?) better than the main game, I've got high hopes.

Released on Friday 13th October, 2017.

This was a pretty damn slick trailer, though the story stuff was lost on me since I didn't finish the first game. Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus takes place in a 1961 where Blazkowicz is now taking on the Nazis in a conquered America with the help of resistance fighters. The in-game footage opened with a weakened BJ, embraced by Anya, the female lead from The New Order. Plus, tap in a Link amiibo and you can play as Link in your Tamriel adventure. "But, there's a constant demand from our fans to add more official high quality content to our games, and while we are able to create a lot of it, we think many in our community have the talent to work directly with us and create some fantastic new things".

We'll be back tomorrow for Ubisoft and Sony, and covering the rest of the show all week.
