The beginning of next week will be sunny and mild with highs in the mid 70s. We'll be mostly sunny into the start of the work week with highs jumping into the upper 80s.

Overnight, another disturbance will move through ahead of the front and may increase rain chances in the northwest. Tonight under partly cloudy skies and forecasted light winds, some shallow fog is possible especially with areas that had received earlier rains.

We should see some light rain moving into northern NY late Sunday morning. Temperatures climbed into the mid to upper 80s.

Today: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.

Skies will remain mostly cloudy to overcast and winds will stay light out of the southeast around 5 to 10 miles per hour. Overall shower and thunderstorm coverage will taper off this evening. While Sunday should not be a washout - and again, some will watch rain and thunderstorms drift by in the distance - passing heavy rain is a possibility. Highs will be in the mid-80s and the chance of rain will be 60 percent. Overnight lows will settle to the low to mid 60s.
