The beginning of next week will be sunny and mild with highs in the mid 70s. We'll be mostly sunny into the start of the work week with highs jumping into the upper 80s.
Overnight, another disturbance will move through ahead of the front and may increase rain chances in the northwest. Tonight under partly cloudy skies and forecasted light winds, some shallow fog is possible especially with areas that had received earlier rains.
We should see some light rain moving into northern NY late Sunday morning. Temperatures climbed into the mid to upper 80s.

Monday features a good chance of passing rain and storms across the entire region as a front approaches from the north. Lows will sulk in the lower 70s as southeast winds will range from 10 to 15 miles per hour, becoming south around 5 miles per hour after midnight.
Wednesday will bring a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high around 80. Skies will remain mostly cloudy to overcast and winds will stay light out of the southeast around 5 to 10 miles per hour. Overall shower and thunderstorm coverage will taper off this evening. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
While Sunday should not be a washout - and again, some will watch rain and thunderstorms drift by in the distance - passing heavy rain is a possibility. Highs will be in the mid-80s and the chance of rain will be 60 percent. Overnight lows will settle to the low to mid 60s.

Mystery Subaru STI offering will be a WRX STI Type RA
It will be called the Type RA - a familiar nameplate to Subaru in Japan, but it's the first time we'll see it in North America. Most rear drive performance cars would have a big problem, but the STI had some fast laps on the rain-soaked track.
