It was recently revealed that Trump's son-in-law and White House advisor Jared Kushner allegedly spoke with Russia's ambassador to the US about setting up a back-channel communications network with Moscow during the presidential transition.
President Trump tweeted several times Sunday evening, attacking the "Fake News Media" for criticizing his social media habits.
At a Tuesday press briefing, reporters asked White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer if or when Trump knew Kushner was trying to set up back channels with Russian Federation before he became president. He is respected by virtually everyone and is working on programs that will save our country billions of dollars.
The 36-year-old Kushner, a NY real estate executive before joining Trump's White House staff, is married to Trump's oldest daughter Ivanka, who also is a White House adviser.
During the meeting the Russians broached the idea of using a secure line between the Trump administration and Russia, not Kushner, a source familiar with the matter told Fox News.
It was then reported that Mr Kushner had a year ago asked the Russian Ambassador to the USA to establish a secret back channel using Russia's communication systems to enable the Trump transition team to talk to Moscow.
His last day at the White House has not yet been determined.
Corker said it appears to him that Kushner is "not a target, so I think I would just wait".
The White House did not acknowledge the meeting or Kushner's attendance until March.
CNN reported Kushner made the communications request in December while he was still a private citizen.
"We have back-channel communications with any number of individual" countries, McMaster told Reuters in an interview, saying a back channel between a member of the administration and a Russian embassy or Kremlin official wouldn't worry him.
Lawyers for Kushner said he was willing to talk with federal and congressional investigators about his foreign contacts. the AP reported.
Taking to Facebook on Sunday, Trump dismissed allegations of Russian Federation ties as "fake news" and "fabricated lies". Schiff said that if he had confirmation of the allegations, Kushner's security clearance should be revoked. "Whenever you see the words "sources say" in the fake news media, and they don't mention names".
Mystery Subaru STI offering will be a WRX STI Type RA
It will be called the Type RA - a familiar nameplate to Subaru in Japan, but it's the first time we'll see it in North America. Most rear drive performance cars would have a big problem, but the STI had some fast laps on the rain-soaked track.
