Nor does it include the $25 million Fox was estimated to have paid the cable news host in a severance package after he was dropped from his nightly show amid sexual harassment complaints and lawsuits.

O'Reilly interviewed on Glenn Beck's radio show, and complained of a "liberal hit job" and said his firing came about because of a left-wing cabal intent on "destroying voices (they don't) like".

"It's coming", O'Reilly said. "That threatens people behind the scenes; that pays people to say things".

Beck conducted this talk with O'Reilly via phone, and the former Fox News host framed himself as a victim of an orchestrated "hit". When I'm attacked, I'm going to take action, mostly legal action. I felt bad not only for me and my staff, but for the viewers and listeners because they really had no idea what had happened.

Beck also asked O'Reilly how he learned he was being fired. "People know the left-wing media hates me and hates Fox News, but they don't know the full extent of it", he said, adding: "We are accumulating information and hopefully it will all be made clear soon". "But I'm not going to say any more than that. I've gotta do it in a way where we don't make any mistakes, and we will".

"I'm sure several national cable news networks have expressed strong interest in Mr. O'Reilly, and One America News is no exception, but we have no further comments at this time".

"In American journalism right now, very few are seeking the truth. He doesn't like the fact that Comey is unpredictable [and] ... that Comey would not aggressively investigate the leaks that have plagued the Trump administration", O'Reilly said. "[White House Press Secretary Sean] Spicer's just weak", O'Reilly said. "It's ramped up to a place where I think this is going to become a major story in the next six months".
