Clark County School District Police said the bus driver responded quickly getting the kids off the bus.
Authorities say 14 middle school students received moderate injuries and a person in another vehicle was critically hurt in a crash that left a school bus on its side in Las Vegas.
Investigators learned the bus was travelling southbound on Irvine and the driver of the passenger vehicle had been eastbound on South Movil Lake Road and drove through the stop sign striking the school bus in the right side causing the school bus to lose control and swerve into the soft shoulder on the west side of Irvine rolling on its side in the ditch, according to the Beltrami County Sheriff's Department.

The female bus driver also was evaluated at a hospital, but was not immediately counted among the injured.

Thirty students were sent to the hospital and at least three suffered serious injuries.
A juvenile passenger in the auto also suffered critical injuries, said Capt. Ken Young of the Clark County School District Police.
Hospital Chief Experience Officer Danita Cohen said the students range from 11 to 16. Hess says other students aboard had "bumps and bruises". "He did everything he could to react to what happened and try to avoid the collision, and then tried to minimize the injuries".
The district in another statement added that members of its Crisis Response Team were at the school Thursday to provide counseling and support services for students.
"In a situation like this it's terrifying for the parents and for the children, and it was all handled very well", he said.
