Anchor Kelly Wright opens up about Fox News lawsuit

O'Reilly "Factor" fans are even "threatening to boycott Fox News as a form of protest", announced Young Turks guest commentator Hannah Cranston on Thursday.

The sources reportedly claim Rupert Murdoch and his sons James and Lachlan, CEO and co-chairman of 21st Century Fox, are feeling mounting pressure to make good on their vows to foster "a workplace based on the values of respect and trust".

Suzanne Scott is the highest-ranking woman at Fox News on the programming front.

"The feelers are external; though it's possible that someone could get promoted from within", The Hollywood Reporter wrote. O'Reilly has denied the allegations, noting that his status made him a target.

Julie Roginsky, an on-air contributor, alleged in a lawsuit filed earlier this month that Shine retaliated against her for not supporting Ailes in his battle against Gretchen Carlson.

Additionally, Andrea Tantaros, a former daytime host, has accused Shine of telling her not to speak up about her own sexual harassment allegations against Ailes. For a time, Luhn said, Shine was even tasked with monitoring her outgoing emails.

Current Fox News anchor and reporter Kelly Wright came forward after his colleagues sued and joined the class action. He is not named in the suit, but Wright claims that Shine "demonstrated an obsession with race".

The top brass at Fox News hope to find a woman to take the lead at the embattled cable news network, according to a new report.

But former temporary Fox employee Perquita Burgess, who says O'Reilly sexually harassed her, calling her "hot chocolate", told CBS News "I want him to apologize to everyone that he has harmed with his words, his actions".

"Shine is strike three", an industry insider who has spoken with one of the Murdochs recently said.

But O'Reilly did suggest that Wright, who is also a gospel singer, perform at a Fox holiday party, according to the lawsuit.

21st Century Fox and Fox News Executive Chairman Rupert Murdoch took Shine and Abernethy to lunch last week at a popular restaurant in Central Park in what was seen as a public show of support. "Bill came from the rank and file".

But ultimately, Wright said Fox News has not "effectively pursued... diversity and inclusion of all people". One source described him as "Roger's bag man".

Fox News anchor Kelly Wright said that he was sidelined, insulted and asked to align to a " Jim Crow caricature" during more than a decade at the network. "I prey this is NOT true because if it is, that's the total end of the FNC as we know it".
