Speculation from NeoGaf states that because Insomniac's other game, Sunset Overdrive had a trailer at E3 2013, gameplay at E3 2014, and was released that fall, that Spider-Man might very well follow the same pattern.
First announced at E3 a year ago, Sony is yet to release any more footage of the upcoming superhero adventure.
There is a long list of Spider-Man villains who have yet to appear on the big screen, but that doesn't stop fans from wanting to see a return for the likes of Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. He said, "There's even more on the horizon for 2017 like Spider-Man coming to PlayStation 4 and Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC".
