'DWTS' pro Cheryl Burke replaces Abby Lee Miller on 'Dance Moms'

Abby Lee Miller announces decision to quit

After Abby Lee Miller chose to quit from Lifetime's "Dance Moms", reports claim that her replacement will be another reality dancing show veteran Cheryl Burke.

With nineteen seasons of Dancing With The Stars under her belt, Burke can surely bring enough choreography to the table. but what about the drama!? Despite additional episode orders, reports suggest Abby Lee Miller did not hold up her part of the bargain and the network had to call in Laurieann Gibson to take over.

The star was indicted in October 2015 on 20 counts of fraud, and pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and violating currency reporting laws in June. With her experience as a professional dancer in Dancing with the Stars for 19 seasons, Burke has the qualification to serve as the new dance instructor. "It's a go with or without Abby", the source reportedly said to the publication early this week.

Miller, however, said in an Instagram post that she was quitting the show because she "ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD-WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES, AND COSTUMING".

"[Abby was] spiraling and making decisions that most people would think are not smart", a third source told the site. Sources told ET Gibson filmed "Dance Moms" for a few weeks before Miller returned with demands that included barring Gibson from the set and no one saying "jail".

The majority of children that follow me may be fast asleep, however now is the critical time to make the following statement: I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS.

Miller clarified that she had no problem working with the kids; her issue was with the producers of the show.

Lifetime has yet to announce the return of "Dance Moms" season 7 to the network.

As fans of the show may already know, Allen's announcement comes only a day after Miller revealed that she is leaving because of the production team.

Miller also tells ET she also felt manipulated during filming, and claims that producers once made her push her dead dog in a stroller.
