Adele manages to avoid a fall off stage during Brisbane live concert

Having a laugh!'I've never worn a dress like this I'm basically celebrating Beauty and the Beast coming out... but I forgot to lift it up and tried to run up and nearly fell over' she joked with the crowd

During a concert in Brisbane, Australia, Adele has confirmed that what slipped out at the Grammys - about partner Simon Konecki being her "husband" - is actually true!

She sparked questions about whether she had Wednesday when she thanked her "husband" at the Grammys.

In December, she was photographed wearing a gold ring on her wedding finger in Los Angeles.

It's official - Adele has finally confirmed she's married!

Adele was introducing her hit "Someone Like You" when she talked about what it was like to first fall in love with someone.

The 28-year-old singer continued, "Obviously I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now. I found my next person". That came after reports claimed she and Konecki were planning a Christmas wedding.

The couple have a four-year-old son, Angelo, but Adele has been coy about whether they are married as she tries to maintain her privacy. She then said on stage,"I don't know if you saw, but after you did your marvellous singalong to the Hello chorus, I almost tripped up those stairs".

"And I am addicted to that feeling".

She said: "Before the Grammys I had this dress right, I wore this green dress, everyone said I looked like Fiona from Shrek".

Adele and Konecki have been together for more than five years. "I wanted to go back to that".

Attentive fans at last month's Grammy Awards also heard Adele thanking "my husband and my son - you're the only reason I do it".
