Lana Del Rey's new single, "Love", rocketed to No. 1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 shortly after its release on Saturday (Feb. 18).
In January this year, Lana registered a new song called 'Young & In Love' which was co-written with 'Born To Die' collaborator Emile Haynie, 'Summertime Sadness' songwriter Rick Nowels and Katy Perry producer Benny Blanco. And it is also claimed the music video for the new track was produced by Rich Lee, who has worked with Eminem, Maroon 5 and will.i.am. The cinematic new song is the lead track off her forthcoming, as yet untitled new album, and the follow up to her magnificently languorous 2015 album Honeymoon.
Lana teased the single just a day before its release, with a set of promotional posters that popped up all over the city of Los Angeles.
The "Freak" singer was away from the limelight all of 2016 with an only exception being the Weeknd's "Stargirl Interlude" from his album Starboy.
