Razer Showcases 'Project Valerie' A Laptop With Three 17 Inch Screens

Sources also reported that for practicality's sake, Project Valerie is too much, however, for some who mixes business with pleasure; the three-screen laptop could be used for potential presentation and organization power when there are occasional work trips or perhaps conference room meetings.

Razer is at CES 2017 showing off its new tech, including its Chroma-enabled Project Ariana projector. The monitors are also firmly attached to the laptop, having the same build quality as the overall Razer Blade Pro. Aside from these impressive gaming features, the best part of Project Valerie is it is portable. Razer representatives at the trade show did not give more details about Project Valerie, however.

Project Valerie retains the remarkable thermal management system for which Razer's line of laptops is known. Key presses are registered with 65 grams of force, mimicking the feel of full-size mechanical keyboards.

"Multi-monitor desktop setups are becoming more necessary for professionals, creators, and gamers", Min-Liang Tan, Razer's co-founder and CEO, was quoted as saying in company's release. It's not the first time we see a laptop with more than one display (like the Lenovo ThinkPad W700ds), but it's definitely the first time that we're looking at a triple UHD display.

On regards of its internal specs and features, however, it will take on to the Razer Blade Pro with the same 6th-generation Intel Core i7 Skylake processor, although it is possible that it can run on the latest 7th-gen Core line up of Intel. Now the company has come up with a new three-monitor notebook called Project Valerie. Its 12-pound weight is just right in the line with other 17-inch gaming laptops.

Razer has a history of introducing ridiculously insane things at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), many of them never become a reality. And as expected of a Razer laptop, this one is geared towards gaming and it does not disappoint.
